PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To evaluate plasticizing characteristics in a molding state by providing a pressure sensor for detecting a pressure of a resin material flowing through a resin channel, and a temperature sensor for detecting a temperature of the material flowing through the channel. SOLUTION: The apparatus for evaluating plasticization is clamped at a locating ring 5 of a fixed side mounting plate of a mold by a bolt 8. The apparatus comprises a body 2, a mounting flange 6, a resin pressure sensor 3, a resin temperature sensor 4, and a band heater 9. The body 2 has a resin channel 11 at its center, and a nozzle touching surface 2a formed at an end of the channel 11 at its right side and brought into close contact with an end face of a nozzle 1 of a molding machine. The other end of the channel 11 is formed in a nozzle shape corresponding to a sprue bush 10 of a mold. The sensors 3, 4 are embedded in the body 2 to be opposed to an inner surface of the channel 11. A heat insulating plate 7 is disposed on a portion of the flange 6 brought into contact with the ring 5.
