PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a temporarily constructed protective fence which can be installed with ease and piled and is strong and rigid enough to stand for collision with a vehicle. SOLUTION: A bolt 16 is inserted into the bolt insertion holes made in the upper section of vertical H shape steel 5 and the bolt insertion hole 8b of a reinforcing member so as to penetrate them, and a reinforcing member 4 is fixed between the vertical plates (5b and 5b) of the H shape steel 5 by fastening a nut 17. Then, a strut 18 is inserted into the strut insertion holes 8a and 8a made in the upper and lower faces of the reinforcing member 4 and the strut insertion hole made in the horizontal plate of the H shape steel 5, and with the bolt insertion holes of the H shape steel 5 to prevent the strut from coming off and the bolt insertion hole made in the surface of the lower section of the strut in a radial direction aligned, a bolt 19 is inserted into the holes so as to penetrate the H shape steel 5 and the strut 18, and the strut 18 is prevented from coming off by fastening the bolt 19 by a nut 20.
