PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce an equipment cost and a stock space to a half by alternately disposing two kinds of work retaining jig for engaging and retaining a cylindrical work having a different inner diameter around a center of a pallet body of a square in a plan view. SOLUTION: A pallet 7 retains and conveys two photosensitive substance drums 1 on which, for example, a photosensitive coating film 6 is coated, arranged in a heating/cooling line in a standing attitude. In the pallet 7, two kinds of work retaining jigs 8, 9 are alternately disposed around a center of a square pallet body 10 at a phase of 90 deg.. A plurality of vis bores a and pin bores b are formed on a cross line passing through a body center on the pallet body 10 formed with a removing hole 11. The work retaining jigs 8, 9 are constituted from a hollow cylindrical body 12 having a cone-shape upper end and four leg bodies 13 and a vis hole d for fixing to the vis hole a by a vis c is provided on a leg body 13 and a pin e engaged with a pin hole b is provided on the leg body 13 at an opposite side.
