PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chair improved in strength and durability by extending the length of an axis to increase a supporting place to stabilize supporting of a seat part to reduce a load. SOLUTION: This chair has a nearly vertical backrest part 2 and the seat part 3 which is rotatable between a nearly horizontally using state and a nearly vertically housing state, and the seat part is energized in the direction of a normally housing state. In this case, a seat supporting part 7 is provided at the intermediate part of a support fixed with the backrest part 2 at its upper part; fixing arms 11 for inserting and holding the part 7 is projectingly formed on the back side of a seat fixture 4 to be fixed to the rear side of the part 3; axis holes 12, 13 in a horizontal direction are formed at these arms 11 and the part 7 and coincident with each other to put an axis 14 through; coil springs 15 energizing the part 3 in a housing direction are mounted to both end parts of the axis 14. |
