PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject apparatus simplifying the structure, capable of simultaneously monitoring a yarn guiding path with a slight cost and improving operability and quality control by arranging commonly usable detecting devices to plural yarn guiding paths. SOLUTION: This jet loom has a main body 6 having respective yarn guiding paths 8 and 12 on the downstream side of the weft inserting direction A in first and second arranging faces. In the jet loom having a prescribed center gap between an output port of one yarn guiding path and an output port of another and arranging a detecting device 13 on output sides of the yarn guiding paths 8 and 12, especially a weft extending and detecting devices 13 for an air horizontally inserting jet loom, one detecting device 13 combinedly used in two yarn guiding paths 8 and 12 is arranged. The detecting device 13 is preferably composed of a photoelectric device arranged in a supporter 13a almost corresponding to an output port side structure of the main body 6 and the detecting device 13 is composed of a beam transmitter 13b, a beam receiver 13c and a beam relay 13d.
