PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular interior monitoring device capable of maintaining an interior design and certainly picking up an image of an occupant in a front passenger seat. SOLUTION: By providing a structure wherein a CCD camera 12 is stored in a case 52 of a room mirror 50, and a reflecting mirror body 54 allows the light to partially pass through and reflects the rest, the CCD camera is put out of an occupant's sight in a vehicular interior. Therefore, the occupant is not aware of the CCD camera 12, and spoiling an interior design is prevented. Moreover, the room mirror 50 is positioned in front of and above a driver seat and the front passenger seat, so that an image of an occupant in the front passenger seat can be certainly picked up.
