A storage wall, e.g. for enclosing coal, gravel, &c., comprises wall sections which enclose an angle and are formed of concrete or reinforced concrete components each having a foot and an upright, at the junction of two wall sections the foot 30 of one or more components 28 forming one section being situated at a level beneath the foot 24 of the adjacent component or components 23 of the other wall section to a depth a at least equal to the vertical distance b on the component 23 between the base of the foot 24 and the point on the upright 25 where the inner or outer face thereof changes direction. Right angle, obtuse or acute angles may thus be formed, or junctions of partition walls with the perimeter wall, components 28 being used in the perimeter where the partition meets it. A reentrant may be formed in a wall, e.g. to house a switch lever of a rail-track, by suitably arranging components 23, 28, Fig. 11 (not shown).
