摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the transmission efficiency of mechanical action from a pitman arm to both lateral knuckle arms at lateral front wheels by operating the pitman arm swingingly to the right or left around a longitudinal axis of a machine body to steer a lateral pair of front wheels to the right or left through a lateral pair of tie rods. SOLUTION: One ends (a pivotal point 31B) of a lateral pair of tie rods 31 are pivotally connected around a longitudinal axis 18 at an swinging end side part of a pitman arm 17, and the other ends of both tie rods 31 are pivotally connected to knuckle arms 30 of lateral front wheels. In the case of operating the pitman arm 17 swingingly from a rectilinar position to the left until the left knucle arm 30 reaches a left maximum steering angle A1, an angle A3 between the pitman arm 17 and the left tie rod 31 is smaller than a conventional angle. The push operating quantity of the left tie rod 31 to the left knuckle arm 30 is therefore larger than the conventional push operating quantity with respect to the leftward swinging operation of the pitman arm 17.
