SOLUTION: This new microorganism is selected from a group consisting of Bacillus sp NA-3 (FERM P-17302), Pseudomonas fluorescens NA-11 (FERM P-17303), Pseudomonas fluorescens NA-12 (FERM P-17304), Enterobacter amnigeus NA-34 (FERM P-17305) and Ochrobactrum anthropi NA-43 (FERM P-17306), has a marine life decomposing activity and is useful for performing a decomposition treatment of shells attached to a ship body and a water intake port and marine life such as jelly fishes sucked at the water intake port of a water intake passage, without generating a bad smell and in a good efficiency.
