PURPOSE: Provided is a novel bHLH protein and the corresponding coding nucleic sequence. Also, expression vectors integrating the sequence and the use of this sequence or protein for therapeutic purposes are provided. CONSTITUTION: cDNA coding bHLH polypeptiode is isolated and its sequences are identified and characterized. A recombinant DNA using the sequences, and a vector containing the same are provided. bHLH polypeptide or its derivatives being expressed partially or completely by SEQUENCE ID; NO. 1, have sequence homology with bHLH protein in the level of bHLH domain and a transcription activity. The vector is a viral vector derived from adenovirus, retrovirus, AAV, HSV virus, or CMV virus. A pharmaceutical composition comprises the polypeptide or a vector containing the polypeptide for pathological treatment of nerve-system.
