PURPOSE: Provided is specific use of novel molding materials for fabrics, films, and molding materials process. CONSTITUTION: Thermoplastic molding materials contains: A) 10 to 90 wt. % of at least one thermoplastic polymer; B) 1 to 20 wt. % of a polyethylene containing carboxyl groups with an average molecular weight Mn (number average) of 24,000 to 100,000 g/mol; C) 5 to 60 wt. % of a halogen-free flame-proofing agent; D) 0 to 70 wt. % of other additives and auxiliary processing agents, wherein the sum of the weight percentages of constituents A) to D) amounts to 100 %.
