PURPOSE:To enable the quick and accurate detection of an imbalanced condition caused by one-side gathered materials to be washed by detecting an imbalanced condition of load of washing upon dehydration based on any of the fluctuations of an inverter current, a motor current or a motor revolving speed when an onoff ratio of a switching element is constant. CONSTITUTION:An inverter circuit 10 drives a brushless DC motor which revolves a spin basket with a switching element periodically switching a DC voltage. A duty ratio signal generator 40 produces a duty ratio signal to vary an on-off ratio of the switching element. A current detection circuit 70 detects at least either of an inverter current or a motor current. A revolving speed detection circuit 50 detects a motor revolving speed. An imbalance detecting means 60 detects the imbalance of load of washing upon dehydration based on at least either of the fluctuations of detected values of the current or the revolving speed when the on-off ratio of the switching element is made constant. |
