PURPOSE: A water drain pump is provided to restrain movement of a water removing circular plate toward a motor to prevent water scattering to the motor part by forming a collar part and a flange part on an outer periphery of a driving shaft. CONSTITUTION: A water drain pump(10) includes a housing(20) of a main body and a rotation wing(30) mounted in the housing. A through hole(24) is provided in a center of a lid(22) attached to a top of the housing and a shaft part(32) of the rotation wing is protruded upward of the lid by penetrating via the through hole. A rotor(54) is provided in a bracket(52) of a motor(50) for driving the rotation of a driving shaft(60) of the motor. The driving shaft is supported with relation to the bracket by axial arms(70,80) mounted at upper and lower parts, and protruded from the bracket to be pressed into a bottom hole of the shaft of the rotation wing for driving the rotation wing. A collar(100) includes a cylindrical part and a circular plate type flange part positioned above the through hole for preventing lifting of a water removing circular plate(40). The flange part prevents scattering of drain water leaked from the through hole toward the motor. An oil flowing part of lubrication oil is formed between a top surface of the cylindrical part and the axial arms.
