<p>PURPOSE: A virtual teach-in system is provided to generate, change, and/or display programs for controlling a grinding machine by providing a system having a teach-in module. CONSTITUTION: A teach-in module is provided to provide virtual displays of a workpiece(25) and tools(27, 28, 29), allows the display process by moving the workpiece(25) and the tools(27, 28, 29) displayed with respect to each other, and generates and changes a machine control program(MC program) based on the process. A storage unit is arranged for storing workpiece data indicative of the workpiece characteristics in a machining state in a memory and for storing tool data indicative of the tool characteristics in the memory.</p> |
