SUBSTANCE: tubular bimetallic adapter includes female and male threaded bushes made from dissimilar materials and interconnected by means of threaded sections with sealing elements at joints of these sections. Sealing elements are made in form of composite sealing coat manufactured from metal powders or their mixtures with ceramic materials in boundary zones of threaded zones of threaded sections. Method of manufacture of tubular bimetallic adapter includes screwing threaded bushes made from dissimilar materials together, sealing the joint and machining it. Sealing the joints is effected through application of gas dynamic spraying on terminal boundary zones of threaded sections of composite coat in form of metal powders or their mixtures with ceramic materials accelerated by means of supersonic flow of gas. Prior to applying the coat, respective surfaces are subjected to preparation by gas dynamic bombardment with powder of higher hardness as compared with that of threaded bushes being screwed together.
