PURPOSE:To obtain an ink composition having high dyeing concentration and excellent in long-term stability by including a specific phthalocyanine-based reactive dye, a dye-dissolving agent, a hydrophilic organic solvent and an inorganic salt in a specific amount or bellow. CONSTITUTION:The stable ink composition for ink-jet printing is obtained by blending 2-20wt.% phthalocyanine-based reactive dye having a sulfonamide bond expressed by the formula (M is Na or/and K) with 1-20wt.% auxiliary such as urea and/or epsilon-caprolactam as a dye-dissolving agent, 5-25wt.% hydrophilic organic solvent (e.g. polyalkylene glycol or ketones) and an inorganic salt which admixed in synthesis of dye and reduced into <=0.5wt.% concentration to provide the stable objective ink composition for ink-jet printing. The resultant composition has excellent reproducibility of dyeing and is free from pollution of white area and has excellent long-term stability which does not cause increase in viscosity, deposition of crystal, etc., even if stored for a long period. |
