<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform stable suction and discharge by eliminating erroneous seating of a ball to a valve seat. SOLUTION: In a ball valve mechanism of a plunger, the lower end opening of a stuffing box barrel 12 so provided that a plunger 11 may be lifted is provided so as to be communicated with a pump main body passage 13, liquid is sucked from a ball valve mechanism 14 on the suction side provided on one side of the pump main body passage to the pump main body passage by the lifting operation of the plunger, and liquid of the pump main body passage is discharged from a ball valve mechanism 15 provided on the other side of the pump main body passage. The ball valve mechanism is provided with balls 23 for closing the valve by being seated on the valve seats 24 and for opening the valve by being separated from the valve seats, and coil springs 1 with which the balls are brought into contact when the balls are separated from the valve seats.</p> |
