PURPOSE: A power steering system is provided to prevent the problem of control force of a motor when a motor is in a breakdown, by equipping a motor of brushless type generating low control torque. CONSTITUTION: A power steering system contains the following characteristics; for a power steering system which is provided with a motor giving parts of a steering shaft an assistant torque responding to motor operation signals, the motor(12) comprises an inner permanent magnet motor, which is arrayed on circle around many permanent magnets(301) inserted into a rotor(300) and the rotor and has many upper coils provided for a stator(400). |
