PURPOSE: A video camera and method for displaying warning of video camera are provided to apply a method for controlling a video camera and a video camera for displaying a warning when a battery is almost discharged. CONSTITUTION: A video recorder with a camera is composed by a connection between a body of a video camera recorder(10) and a battery pack(20) using a power line(40) and a communication line(30). The body of the video camera recorder(10) includes two terminals having positive and negative polarities(12,13) connected to the power line(40) and a terminal for a communication(11) connected to the communication line(30). The body of the video camera recorder(10) also includes a microcomputer(14) for transmitting/receiving data to an outside through the terminal for the communication(11), a display unit(15) controlled by the microcomputer(14), and a power control unit(16).
