PURPOSE: A shadow mask support frame for a cathode ray display bulb is provided which is light, solid, and easy to produce. CONSTITUTION: A shadow mask support frame(39) for a cathode ray display bulb comprising a continuous or nearly continuous square cavity formed with a folded metal strip cutting. The two piece of lateral upstand(40,40') with a square sectioned and the two piece of end upstand(41,41') with a triangle sectioned are positioned each other oppositely. The lateral upstand(40,40') is shorter than the end upstand(41,41').The corners(43,43') of the end upstand(41,41') are protruded therefrom. The end upstand and the lateral upstand(40,40') are shaped as a tube and include at least one of the plane closed line which is arranged on an inner side of the all hollow body.
