PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a pressure-sensitive adhesive composition excellent in adhesion to a polyolefin-based adherend, especially the adhesion to a curved surface as an acrylic pressure-sensitive adhesive. SOLUTION: This pressure-sensitive adhesive composition is obtained by formulating a copolymer of a monomer mixture prepared by adding 0.5-10 pts.wt. of a carboxyl group-containing unsaturated monomer to 100 pts.wt. of an alkyl (meth)acrylate in which the number of carbon atoms in the alkyl group is within the range of 2-12 with a tackifier resin having >=1.27 kg/cm2 interfacial adhesion in scratch test on polypropylene.
