PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a saddle-girder coupling device of overhead crane assuring easy assembling work at the site. SOLUTION: The end of a girder 4 is placed on a saddle 3 running on a rail and is coupled with the saddle 3 by a coupling device, and between the girder end and the saddle 3, a base plate 8 having overhang parts 8a on the left and right of the girder end is welded to the girder end, and bolt holes 9 are provided in the overhang parts 8a of the base plate 8 and the saddle oversurface contactig with the base plate 8 so that they are joined together by bolt, and each overhang part 8a is provided with an opening 12, and a cylinder 13 to fit in the opening 12 is attached to the saddle oversurface mating with the opening 12.
