<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laser drive circuit which stabilizes the operations of a semiconductor laser by efficiently performing temperature compensation on the temperature fluctuation of the laser. SOLUTION: A laser drive circuit is provided with a light emission control circuit, which controls a semiconductor laser to emit light with a prescribed light quantity, based on prescribed data and a bias constant-current source circuit which makes a bias current to flow to the semiconductor laser. The bias constant-current source circuit is provided with a thermistor 1, which compensates for the output variation of the semiconductor layer due to temperature fluctuation and bias current adjusting circuits 2 and 3, which adjust the bias current to a prescribed value.</p> |
