PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively perform the necessary processing after the occurrence of abnormality by storing the entering/leaving processing states set right before the interruption to collate them with the prescribed data which specify a passenger ticket and then restarting the entering/leaving processing of plural tickets for the entering/leaving processing of a single user when the coincidence is confirmed in the collation. SOLUTION: A main body (a) of an automatic ticket examination machine dissolves a jam via a person in charge, ejects its holding passenger ticket to the outside and receives a new passenger ticket via an operating unit to perform a processable resetting operation. A passenger ticket is put into a slot 1 again after the resetting operation of the body (a) and a reading head H1 reads the data out of the ticket. These read data are collated with the data which are stored in a RAM right before the occurrence of the abnormality to check whether the inputted passenger ticket is coincident with the passenger ticket that undergone the abnormal processing. If the coincidence of both tickets is confirmed, i.e., if the ticket inputted again is coincident with the ticket that is specified when the abnormality occurred, a CPU performs the entering/leaving processing according to those data.
|
