摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an easily-handleable, high-sensitivity and high-precision integrally formed multilayer chemical analysis element and a quantitative method of magnesium ions, by utilizing an enzyme method by using glycerol kinase and glycerophosphoric acid oxidase for quantifying the magnesium ions in a test body. SOLUTION: This integrally formed multilayer chemical analysis element for quantifying of magnesium ions in a test body has a light-transmissible support 11, a reagent layer 21 containing a composition containing glycerol kinase, glycerophosphoric acid oxidase, peroxidase, and a pigment forming compound, and a developing layer 31 made of porous material containing adenosine tri- phosphate and a chelating agent, in this order. This quantitative method of the magnesium ions in the test body is so composed that the test body is placed in the point contact state on the integrally formed multilayer chemical analysis element and that a coloring concentration in the analysis element is measured.
