PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To apply image processing to image data so as to obtain an impression of brightness at photographing. SOLUTION: A digital camera 1 acquires image data S0 receiving AE processing and a luminance meter 6 measures luminance at photographing to obtain absolute luminance information K and they are recorded in a recording medium 2. A gradation processing means 8 in a lab 3 applies gradation processing to adjust the contrast of the image data S0 in a way that the contrast is more increased as the luminance at photographing is higher on the basis of the absolute luminance information K to obtain processed image data S1, and an output means 9 prints out the data S1.
