PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connection method of a coaxial thin wire allowing plural coaxial thin wires to be arranged in parallel with a small pitch and easy connection work, and a connector. SOLUTION: This connector is composed of a board side connector 31, and a wire side connector 33 comprising an assembly A34 and an assembly B35. A support member 51 of the assembly A34 is vertically faced to a conductive member 58 of the assembly B35, and a core covered with an insulation cover 67 of a coaxial thin wire 32 is caught between them. The assembly A34 and the assembly B35 are relatively moved along the lengthwise direction of the coaxial thin wire 32 to tear the insulation cover 67, so that the core is electrically connected to the conductive member 58, and then, the conductive member 58 is engaged with a contact part 42 of a terminal 37 of the board side connector 31.
