PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To appropriately decide a use area of a database for a prepared table by inputting the predictive data quantity of a table to be prepared without preliminarily calculating capacity necessary to a table to be prepared on a database and automatically calculating the capacity necessary to the table. SOLUTION: First, capacity is secured by preparing a table 11 including an index 12, and also table configuration information 21 and database definition information 22 are prepared. When the number of records to the table constituting information 21 of a calculation object is inputted, a capacity calculating part 2 calculates the necessary capacity of a database 10 and stores it in a temporary table 13. A capacity deciding part 4 outputs a satisfaction notification and necessary capacity when the calculated necessary capacity is satisfied by the previously secured capacity. When it is not enough, a size change deciding part 5 compares the necessary capacity with a free area and outputs capacity shortage notification and necessary capacity when the free area is not large enough. When it can be secured in the free area, a size change executing part 7 changes size and outputs change notification and changed capacity.
