PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the manufacturing efficiency of an armature, even if the number of turns of coils in slots are increased. SOLUTION: In order to draw out wires 14 from a plurality of nozzles 23 to for winding coils on an armature core 12 comprising a plurality of core slots formed radially on a shaft 11, the respective nozzle 23 are transferred from one end side of the armature core 12 to the other end side, to insert wires into a 1st slot and returned from the other end side of the armature core 12 to the one end side and transferred to insert wires into a 2nd slot. Until a prescribed number of turns of coils are wound starting from the coil winding of a 1st turn, coil end parts are molded by molding cylinders 33 and 34. Remaining coil end parts are wound directly without molding.
