PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of distributing part feeders in each of electronic component mounting machines which constitute mounting lines within a practical time, using optimizing rules, irrespective of the type of electronic component mounting machines. SOLUTION: In a method of distributing part feeders disposed in component supplies of electronic component mounting machines arranged along a substrate carrying line, and all the part feeders to be distributed to the mounting machines determine the array of part feeders arranged in an arbitrary order. Every part feeder constituting the part feeder array, a specified number of units each composed of an array of identifiers of each mounting machine are generated according to random numbers, and a legacy algorithm is applied with use of the mounting time of each generated unit in each mounting machine as an evaluation value, thereby optimizing the distribution of the part feeder to each mounting machine so as to minimize the evaluation value. |
