PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a machine translation device capable of easily setting up translation environment information and solving complexity in the setting of translation environment information. SOLUTION: The machine translation device is constituted of plural translation clients 1 and a translation server 2. Each translation client 1 is provided with an input part 11 for executing the setting of translation environment information, the input of an original sentence and the output of a translation request to the server 2 through a communication line, a display part 12 for displaying a translation result or the like, a storage part 13 for storing the original sentence and the translation result, a translation client communication part 14 for communicating with the server 2, and a translation client control part 15. The server 2 is provided with a translation server communication part 21 for communicating with each translation client 1, an original sentence information storage part 22 for storing original sentences and the addresses of respective translation clients 1, a translation environment management/ storage part 23 for storing translation environment information so as to identify a group of plural translation clients 1, a translation execution part 24 for translating an original sentence on the basis of the translation environment information, and a translation server control part 25. |
