PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus of multi-protocol for an exchange that can accept all the V5.2 protocol, the integrated services digital network, the primary rate interface PRI protocol, the No.7 protocol and the frame relay protocol and process them. SOLUTION: This apparatus of multi-protocol is provided with an interconnection section 10 that is connected to a multi-protocol processing section 20 and a subscriber matching section 40 so as to match a subscriber device to be connected to the multi-protocol, with the multi-protocol processing section 20 that is connected to the interconnection section 10 and executes E1 physical layer, No.7, V5.2, ISDN, PRT and frame relay functions, and the subscriber matching section 40 that interfaces the interconnection section 10 and a subscriber device to match the subscriber device with the multi-protocol so that the subscriber device can use the multi-protocol function.
