PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a heat developable photosensitive material having high sensitivity and high resolution even in simple rapid processing, having high maximum density and low minimum density and excellent in color forming balance by incorporating a slightly soluble metallic salt compound into a plurality of photographic constituent layers. SOLUTION: The silver halide photographic sensitive material contains a photosensitive silver halide, at least one of developing agents of formulae I-III, etc., a compound forming a dye by a coupling reaction with the oxidized body of the contained developing agent, a slightly soluble metallic salt compound and a binder on the substrate and comprises a plurality of photographic constituent layers. The slightly soluble metallic salt compound is contained in three or more photographic constituent layers. In the formulae, R1-R4 are each H, halogen or the like, R5 is alkyl, aryl or the like, R6 is optionally substituted alkyl, X is O, S, Se or the like, R7-R10 are each H or a substituent and Z is a group of atoms forming an aromatic ring.
