PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laser light emitting device, which can be improved in reliability by preventing a semiconductor laser from being damaged by an excessively large current due to imperfect contact of a connector and a disk reproducing device using the device. SOLUTION: A capacitor C1, which is a constituent of a time constant circuit, is connected to an APC loop composed of a connector CN and a laser diode LD. When the connector CN is conducted from a non-conducting state, currents are supplied to the diode LD and capacitor C1 through a resistor R2. When the currents are supplied, the output of the diode LD does not exceed the maximum rated value, and the diode LD is not damaged, because the both-terminal voltage of the diode LD rises with a time constant of the resistor R2 and capacitor C1. |
