PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to eliminate the nonuniformity of a cell gap and to produce a liquid crystal panel having a good display grade. SOLUTION: This liquid crystal injection method has a cooling stage for controlling the opening and closing of three stop valves 15, 17 and 19 varying in flow rates with prescribed sequence in drying and cooling of the liquid crystal panel prior to the liquid crystal injection and executing the supply of nitrogen for cooling after high-temperature vacuum evacuation. As a result, the nonuniformity of the cell gap 30 near an injection hole 26 of the liquid crystal panel which occurs heretofore is suppressed. The liquid crystal injection device has a cooling evacuation chamber 4 installed with three flow rate variable nitrogen supply systems.
