PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent unnecessary ultrasonic transmission and the generation of a receiving signal in transmitting and receiving ultrasonic waves by forming a gap insert-held between a pair of electrode drawing part with a non- piezoelectric member. SOLUTION: A non-piezoelectric material 100 is arranged inserted between the first electrode 123 and a second electrode 122 of the part of an electrode drawing part 500. A tip cap 200 is provided on the part 500 so as to insert the end part of an acoustic lens 210. In addition, an adhering layer 220 adheres the lens 210 and a piezoelectric vibrator 110. Then when a signal for oscillating ultrasonic waves is applied to the vibrator 110, only the part of the vibrator 100 oscillates the ultrasonic waves as an effective part. Since the material 100 never shows piezoelectric characteristics though the signal is applied to, it does not vibrate and oscillate ultrasonic waves. Consequently, unnecessary signal components are not mixed into signal components received by the oscillator 110.
