PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To sharply improve throughput and versatility by detecting a state that contents recorded in a DXF file to be processed are deviated from a definition rule for the DXF file, suitably correcting the contents and preventing the processing from being disabled. SOLUTION: A data processing part 6 opens a DXF file 9 to be processed and checks whether there is an odd numbered line consisting of only a line feed code or not. When there is an odd numbered line consisting of only a line feed code, the data processing part 6 displays the odd numbered line on a CRT device 7 and executes processing for deleting the specified odd numbered line or processing for adding a specified character string to the specified odd numbered line on the basis of a deletion instruction, an addition instruction or the like inputted from a keyboard 2, a mouse 3 or the like so as to display a drawing indicated by the DXF file.
