PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To output a desired camera signal onto a monitor by discriminating correctness of a camera number on the basis of a password entered at reproduction and making the camera signal. SOLUTION: A video signal processor 10 has a microcomputer 14. A microcomputer 14 encrypts a camera number selected by a selection key 24a on the basis of a password entered by a ten-key 24b and gives a code including the encrypted camera number to a code multiplexer 26. Furthermore, a time division multiplex camera signal outputted from a field memory 18 is given to the code multiplexer circuit 26, and then the time division multiplex camera signal on which the code is multiplexed is recorded on a magnetic tape 32. In the case of reproducing the magnetic tape 32, a code decoding circuit decodes the multiplexed code and the result is given to the microcomputer 14. Furthermore, the microcomputer 14 receives the password entered by the ten-key 24b and the microcomputer 14 discriminates the correctness of the camera number on the basis of the result of decoding and the entered password. When the camera number is in error, the camera signal is masked.
