PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a short circuit accident by forming terminal block stoppers for restraining a terminal block from rotating over a specific angle in the lengthwise direction at the closing time of a blade in opening a disconnector on a hinge base. SOLUTION: Respective terminal block stoppers 15 for restraining a terminal block 6b from rotating over an angle of around 90 deg. in the lengthwise direction at the closing time of a blade 5b in opening a disconnector are formed on a hinge base 3b. The terminal block stoppers 15 project upward from the upper surface of the hinge base 3b, and are so arranged that the longitudinal end face of the terminal block 6b abuts on it when the terminal board 6b rotates at nearly 90 deg.. In this horizontal single-break disconnector, when a wire 20b connected with tolerance receives external force, since a pair of the terminal block stoppers 15 mounted on the upper surface of the hinge base 3b regulates the longitudinal end face of the terminal block 6b, the wire 20b connected with tolerance turns around in the direction between electrodes of the horizontal single-break disconnector and never deteriorates the insulation between the electrodes.
