PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an excavation wall measurement device capable of performing measurement even when the density of slurry is high and a distance to an excavation wall surface is long, performing the measurement by an ultrasonic wave measurement device without waiting for the slurry to be in a standstill state, shortening an execution time period and performing accurate measurement. SOLUTION: The excavation wall surface 50 of an excavation groove 10 excavated in muddy water 16 by an excavator hung from the ground is measured in the ultrasonic wave measurement device 44. In this case, on the transmission/reception port of an ultrasonic wave transmitter-receiver 54 provided in the ultrasonic wave measurement device 44, the waveguide 56 of a prescribed length is projected and provided along the irradiation direction of ultrasonic waves.
