PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently measure the dimension and inclination of the end face of a long-length extrusion molded article horizontally carried along a longitudinal direction. SOLUTION: The end face of the long-length extrusion molded article 31 horizontally carried along an axial direction is abutted to the detection surface in a vertical state of an end face detector 11. Plural pressure sensors 11a are arranged in a matrix shape on the detection surface of the end face detector 11, and based on all the pressure sensors 11a turned to the state of abutting the long-length extrusion molded article 31 and the width direction dimension of the respective pressure sensors 11a, the width direction dimension of the end face of the long-length extrusion molded article 31 is computed by an arithmetic processing unit 12. Also, in all the pressure sensors 11a to which the long-length extrusion molded article 31 is abutted, based on the maximum value and minimum value of a measured pressure, the inclination angle of the end face of the long-length extrusion molded article 31 is computed.
