PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently detect and correct an attack/release signal by grouping a sample into several sub-areas, calculating a peak value for each sub-area and comparing peak values between adjacent sub-areas. SOLUTION: A sub-frame is divided into 32 pieces of sub-areas and each sub-area is composed of eight samples. The absolute peak value is shown by a perpendicular arrow concerning each sub-area. The maximum peak is found out in the group partitioned for each of four sub-areas like Pn and Pn+1. When the condition of Pn+1/Pn>=Ta is established, an attack area appears between Pn and Pn+1. In this case, Ta is previously specified threshold value. The best position for executing signal correction is between Pn and Pn+1 and is a spot where the peak value is most rapidly changed, namely, a spot where the ratio of peak values between two adjacent sub-areas is maximum. |
