METHOD FOR ADJUSTING PULSE WIDTH OF INFRARED COMMUNICATION CIRCUIT AND THE CIRCUIT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a method for adjusting the pulse width of an infrared communication circuit and the circuit which is capable of automatically adjusting a light-emitted transmission pulse width to transmit by a transmitting pulse width just like setting without regard to the variation of an external condition. SOLUTION: This infrared communication circuit transmitting data by a pulse signal obtained by modulating light is provided with a pulse width measuring circuit 10 detecting an infrared pulse signal as a transmitted optical signal by a light receiving part 4 as a light receiving element to measure its pulse width, and a transmission pulse width adjusting means 11 adjusting an infrared pulse width so that this measured value approaches a set value and transmitting data with this adjusted infrared pulse width as a reference pulse width.
