PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To permit the control of rotating speed of a hood motor in accordance with a condition by a method wherein a switching unit, cutting or connecting the supply of an electric current, supplied to a hood motor for driving a hood fan, is provided and the rotating speed of the hood motor is controlled by regulating the ON, OFF time of the switching unit. SOLUTION: A wall-hanging microwave oven, in which a hood fan, provided in a hood duct, is driven by a hood motor 30, a hood motor driving unit 20 for driving the hood motor 30 comprises the hood motor 30 consisting of a DC motor, a switching means for cutting and connecting an electric supply, supplied to the hood motor 30, and a microcomputer 10, sending a driving signal to the switching means to control the speed of the hood motor 30. The switching means is connected in series to the hood motor 30 and in parallel to the switching unit 24, being put ON, OFF by the supply of a driving signal from the microcomputer 10, while comprising the hood sensor 7, being turned on and off by detecting hot air or smoke in the hood duct. |
