PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an audio information reproducing equipment with which the reproducing operation of audio information after the operation of a snooze button is not finished in a short time. SOLUTION: Concerning this reproducing equipment, a motor 3 rotates an optical disk medium 1 according to the command of a system control circuit 10 at the time of starting a timer, a driver 6 moves a pickup 5 in the radial direction of the optical disk medium 1, a laser light emitting part 5a is driven by a signal processing circuit 7, the focusing control of astigmatism and the tracking control of push-pull are performed and the reproduced reflected light of the optical disk medium 1 is D/A converted, amplified and outputted from a speaker 13 as music information after optic/electric conversion and signal processing in the signal processing circuit 7. When a user in initial wakeup state operates the snooze button with the music information, the sound output of the speaker 13 is temporarily stopped, the sound output of the speaker 13 is restarted in a repeat mode until the complete wakeup of the user with the passage of standby time and a complete wakeup function is enabled without ending the sound output before the wakeup of the user.
