PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper sheet carrying device capable of orderly positioning paper sheets inside a receiving part even when the paper sheets are carried at high speed and dissolving the bending and clogging of the paper sheets. SOLUTION: This device is provided with a feed blade 20 for transferring the rear end of a carried paper sheet in a horizontal direction toward the side of the receiving part 6 of the paper sheet, the receiving part 6 for supporting the paper sheet transferred by the feed blade 20 and a stopper 6a provided on the back part of the receiving part 6 for positioning the paper sheet transferred from the feed blade. The feed blade 20 is constituted of a bendable material provided with elasticity. A control part 21 for bending the feed blade 20 so as to position the paper sheet on the entrance side of the receiving part 6 by the feed blade 20 which feeds the paper sheet into the receiving part 6 is provided. The feed blade 20 which feeds the paper sheet into the receiving part 6 is bent by the control part 21 and the paper sheet sprung back by the stopper 6a is prevented from jumping out of the receiving part 6.
