PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the workability of connection, and to deal with the difference of door opening and closing directions in an automatic vending machine only by one kind of button substrate. SOLUTION: Microcomputers 5A-1-7A-3 of each button controlling part 5-1-7-3, merchandise selection switches, and sales validity lamps, and sold-out lamps are placed on one substrate for every group. A signal connection lines to be connected to a signal line 10 and a control connection line to be connected to a control line 11 are arranged in parallel between the both right and left edges of those button substrates, and connectors 5B-1, 5C-1,... are arranged at the both right and left edges of the substrate so as to be pressurized and connected with the signal connection line and the control connection line. Also, the merchandise selection switches, sales validity lamps, and sold-out lamps are arranged so as to be made vertically and horizontally symmetrical on the surface side of the substrate, and the substrate can be set even when it is vertically inverted. When the substrate is vertically inverted, the sales validity lamps and the sold-out lamps are handled other way round under an instruction from a main program.
