PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform the sure maintenance work of an automatic vending machine based on the intention of an automatic vending machine manager at night and in the case of dark surroundings even in the daytime in a selective input device constituted of plural switches for selectively inputting the setting data and display data of sales information. SOLUTION: An illumination means 2 provided on the outer shell of this selective input device 1 is lighted based on lighting signals outputted from an arithmetic control part 5 by a door opening detection means 3 and a forced lighting means 4. Thus, the sure maintenance work of the automatic vending machine based on the intention of the automatic vending machine manager is performed at night and in the case of the dark surroundings even in the daytime.
