PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a merchandise conveying device for automatic vending machine capable of enhancing versatility, reducing manufacturing cost and surely and smoothly conveying merchandise to a selling port arranged at a relatively high position regardless of the size of the merchandise or the hardness/softness of the container. SOLUTION: This merchandise conveying device 1 of an automatic vending machine 2 for conveying merchandise S ejected from plural merchandise housing storage 6 aligned in a vending machine main body 3 at the time of selling, is provided with a selling port 12 arranged at a front door 4, an upper shoot 10 for guiding the ejected merchandise S, right and left lower shoots 11 having an opening 11a with the lower edge for guiding the merchandise S from the upper shoot 10 downward, a bucket 17 arranged inside the front door 4 so as to be freely ascended and descended between a receiving position at which the merchandise S from the opening 11a of the lower shoots 11 can be received and a conveying position above the receiving position at which the merchandise S can be outputted through the selling port 12, and a bucket driving mechanism for driving the bucket 17 between the receiving position and the conveying position.
