PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device capable of excellently performing transfer operation from a toner image carrier to a recording medium without causing an inclination or a joint deviation of a transferred image to the recording medium. SOLUTION: This image forming device is equipped with a toner image carrier belt 1 circulating around rollers, an endless transfer belt 9 arranged outside the loop of the belt 1, traveling in a direction orthogonal to the circulating direction of the belt 1 and carrying printing paper in a state where the printing paper is placed on its upper surface, and a transfer counter roller arranged inside the loop of the belt 1 and capable of moving in the direction orthogonal to the circulating direction of the belt 9. In the device, a toner image is transferred to the printing paper by pressing the belt 1 to the printing paper by the transfer counter roller, and the supporting shafts of the rollers around which the belts 1 and 9 are respectively wound are mounted and linked on bearing blocks 15 holding the supporting shafts so that the mutual axial lines are orthogonally crossed and the mutual axis-to-axis distances are made equal.
